FRAME LENGTH

Because frames grow in a heated oven, and distortions due to this growth may hamper the opening and closing of the frames we suggest that the "pin bar" portion of the frame be sectioned into  (3 CYL) max length.
In extremely large frames you may also want to back the multiframe with a thin wall steel tubing or angle for added strength.

Cylinder spacing should be no more than 24".

Removal of the orifice in the cylinders may cause undue wear and premature failure.

SHEET THICKNESS

With the set up as shown we feel that the maximum sheet thickness that will properly clamp will be 1/4 inch or less.
Anything more than 1/4 inch we would recommend the use of adjustable bracket CYL1259-1.
For heavy duty applications use big bore cylinder CYL1407 (standard mounting) and CYL1407-1 (Slotted)

EXTRA CLOSING POWER

The use of "Big Bore" cylinders may be used to increase sheet closing on larger or thicker sheets.
These can be installed at the time of purchase or at anytime later by the customer. Cylinders spacing may also be moved closer to provide more holding power.
